FAQ
Answers for first-time launchers and NFT holders.
The basics
What is NFTRoyalty?
A launchpad for Pump.fun coins that pay an NFT. When you launch a coin here you name one Solana NFT, and 80% of the coin's creator fees go to whoever holds that NFT, for as long as the coin trades.
What is a Naddy?
Naddy is short for NFT address: the address that identifies one Solana NFT (its mint address). Every NFT has exactly one Naddy, and it never changes when the NFT is sold. Paste a Naddy into Launch to pick the NFT your coin pays, or into the search bar to find every coin already paying it.
Where do I find an NFT's Naddy?
Open the NFT on Tensor or Magic Eden and copy its mint address, or copy it from the NFT's details in your wallet. You can also skip the copying: Launch accepts a Tensor or Magic Eden link to the NFT, and if you hold the NFT it shows up under Your NFTs once your wallet is connected.
Do I have to own the NFT?
No. You can launch a coin for any supported NFT, yours or one you admire. The fees always go to whoever holds the NFT, so if it isn't yours they go to its holder, not to you. Launch tells you which before you sign. Coins launched by the NFT's holder get a Launched by holder badge.
Which NFTs can I use?
Most Solana NFTs: standard Metaplex NFTs and the newer Metaplex Core assets. Compressed NFTs can't be used, and neither can burned ones. If an NFT isn't supported, Launch says why before you spend anything.
Can one NFT have more than one coin?
Yes. Anyone can launch another coin for the same NFT, and every coin pays the same holder. The NFT's page lists all the coins paying it and what they have paid.
Launching a coin
How do I launch a coin?
Connect a Solana wallet, open Launch, and paste a Naddy or pick one of your NFTs. We fill in the coin's name, ticker and image from the NFT; edit anything you like, choose your first buy, review the costs and launch. Your coin's page opens as soon as it is live.
Why does my wallet ask me to approve twice?
A launch is two transactions. The first creates the coin on Pump.fun and makes your first buy. The second locks the coin's fee split and links it to the NFT. Each is checked before your wallet opens, so a transaction that would fail never asks for your approval.
What does a launch cost?
Your first buy (you get those coins), plus Pump.fun's creation cost, account rent and Solana network fees. The review step shows each amount and the total before you approve. NFTRoyalty adds no launch fee.
What if my launch stops halfway?
If the coin was created but linking it to the NFT failed, the page says so and Try again finishes the job. It never creates a second coin. If the problem persists, email us with the coin's CA.
Which wallets work?
Any Solana wallet that works in your browser, such as Phantom, Solflare or Backpack. On a phone, open NFTRoyalty inside your wallet app's browser; Connect wallet offers a link that does it for you.
Can I change my coin after launch?
No. The name, ticker, image and links are set on Pump.fun when the coin is created, and the fee split is locked so nobody, including us, can change where the fees go.
Fees and payouts
Where do the fees go?
Pump.fun pays creator fees on every trade. 80% go to the NFT's holder, 10% keep NFTRoyalty running, and 10% buy and burn our coin. The split is written into our on-chain program and can't be changed for a coin once it is launched.
When does the holder get paid?
Automatically. We check every coin about once an hour, and as soon as at least $1 is waiting for its holder it is sent straight to the wallet holding the NFT. There is nothing to claim and no sign-up.
What happens when the NFT is sold?
The fees follow the NFT. Each payout goes to whoever holds it at that moment, so the new holder gets every payout after the sale. Payouts already made stay with the previous holder.
Does a coin keep paying after it graduates from Pump.fun?
Yes. Once a coin moves to PumpSwap its creator fees keep flowing to the same vault, and payouts carry on as before. Its page shows a Graduated label.
How do I see what my NFTs earn?
Connect your wallet and open My royalties. It shows what you have earned, what is waiting to be paid, every payout, and the coins paying each of your NFTs.
Safety
Can NFTRoyalty take the holder's fees?
No. Holder fees sit in an on-chain vault that can only pay the wallet holding the NFT. No person or server can redirect them. The About page lists every program and wallet address so you can verify it yourself.
What is the official NFTRoyalty CA?
Our coin's contract address is on the CA page. Only trust a CA posted by @NFTRoyaltyApp; anyone can launch a coin with a similar name.
Why is a coin's image missing?
We show a placeholder when the NFT's image can't be loaded (some older NFT art is no longer hosted anywhere) or when a coin's images are taken down after review. The coin itself keeps trading and paying as normal.
Is this financial advice?
No. Coins can lose all of their value, and NFTRoyalty is still in beta, so launch with small amounts. You are responsible for what you launch and what you trade.
